Wang So (Jang Hyuk) is the Prince of Goryeo. He had a lonely childhood, due to his cursed fate. As he grew up, he realized his talent to become a King. Wang So looks bright, but he has a wounded mind. One day, he meets Shin Yool (Oh Yeon-Seo), who is the Last Princess of Balhae. She was born with the fate of becoming the light for another country. Because of her fate, she faces death. Through a one night marriage, Wang So and Shin Yool become connected and grow to love each other.

  1. Where do you start with this Drama. Firstly the overacting Jang Hyuk test your ears. Yes brought up outside the Palace but his guttural voice and shouting gets on your nerves. He is so much better than this Drama. As one of the male suitors, he looks older than the King and even his father and mother. He comes into the Palace Grand Hall, usually bent over and with a walk like a baby duck, Then screams. The audience is meant to believe he is besotted with his first wife, hiding under the table cloth like a teenager in the first love stage of life, when in fact he looks older than her Nanny. I do not like giving poor reviews but the storyline we all well know.Even the speech is alike and I can predict the next sentence. Therefore, bad casting, bad storyline, if you like men trying to ride a horse and only see the horse being hurt by the bit. Then this one is for you. Too predictable. Apologies but I think this is just a money making drama with no intention of holding the audience to the end. Sad
