Synopsis: Lee Hyun (Yeo Jin Gu) is the king of Joseon Kingdom. He lives in fear of palace intrigues, betrayals and assassination. To protect the king, a clown named Ha Son (Yeo Jin Gu) who looks almost identical to Lee Hyun is brought to the palace to take the King’s place.

This is really one of the best drama I’ve ever watched. Highly recommend to everyone! The acting, details, plot, and story line are damn good.
Last week, I watched Mr. Sunshine – historical drama also by lee byun hun. I was captivated and amazed on Lee byun hun acting skills and looks. So I researched his other dramas and movies even the old ones. and I watched his movie titled “Masquerade”, after I finished the film, I browse some interesting kdrama and I found this – The crowned clown. the 1st and 2nd episode was the same as “masquerade plot twist”
But then, I appreciate Yeo Jin Gu and other characters same as to producers and writers.
Excellent acting skills and plot twist. I am excited to watch more episodes <3
