Ruan Zhen Zhen has led a simple and happy life under the protection of her financial guru husband. Everything disappears in a flash after the death of her husband.   1. This drama is not so engaging despite of having a good story to tell. The flow of the scenes are too slow in which you’re getting impatient while watching it. It lacks the element of thrill on scenes that you should feel it, perhaps an appropriate music scoring would let you feel the nerve of anxiousness. I also don’t like the character of the female lead and there’s this annoying scene wherein she bought an expensive coat for her lawyer to replace the ripped old one during the elevator fake saving scene. For me, it was an irrational action knowing her situation of being left with a big amount of debt to pay of her late husband, so to speak financially struggling. Her character is a simple housewife doted by her husband. But after the turn of events in her life, she being gullible, easily manipulated and not so spoken is a disappointment. As to better build her character, she may remain simple but make herself strong and vigilant enough to protect herself from deception. I am halfway through the episodes but decided to finish it anyway to know the mystery behind the death of her husband and the motive of her lawyer. This drama missed the essence of being thrilled in which your anticipation for the next episode gets higher.
