  1. So if everyone should leave the other alone who will be proposing then?…I think the husband was the one more wrong coz he could have denied the proposal….coz the girl was just proposing coz they were already in a relationship..I don’t see anything wrong with that

  2. I don’t know what the f ya’ll saying but this show looks interestingly weird. Still gonna watch it tho? Starting from now

    1. Totally worth watching. Provokes you to think of love in a new light. Though you need to be very open minded to get it.

  3. The amount of spinelessness, awkwardness and cowardice in this drama far exceeds my ability to eye-roll.

I am gay, but if I ever met such a twisted dunderhead as that poor woman’s husband, I would show him a middle finger and wish him good luck on his way to hell.

    1. “Poor woman,” she did this to herself. She could have been a single, happy woman. But decided to put a man on the spot

I met many Western gay men stuck in “straight” marriages. Show the man some sympathy. And if you’re not going to, don’t show the woman sympathy either

    2. Edit:

    3. The woman “confessed” to the man first. SHE trapped him in the “marriage,” because the man saw no other option in a society that humiliates and disowns gay people

Women should leave men the fuck alone, and men should leave women the fuck alone

      1. Kokuhaku does not trap into marriage. Does not even trap into a relationship. It is quite normal to politely decline the love interest. Sometimes stars do not align, no matter the sexuality.

As for “humiliates and disowns gay people”, I think that would be very strong words for Japan, especially urban Japan, where all the action is happening. No, the problem is neither kokuhaku, nor the society at large. The problem is, indeed, that the man is a neurotic dunderhead. It’s as simple as that.

        1. She does trap him. Just because it’s an “urban” setting, doesn’t mean gay men aren’t disowned or humiliated by those around them

And if you don’t see the problem with what the woman did, you’re the neurotic dunderhead. Simple as that
